The moment the plane crashed

A tragic event was recorded at the Pokhara airport in Nepal, where a plane with 72 people on board crashed at the moment of landing. Unfortunately, none of the people in it survived and they all lost their lives.

A citizen filmed the last moment of the plane, where it can be seen making a turn and then exploding.

According to international media reports, there were 68 passengers and four crew members on board. Among the passengers there were many foreigners, 5 Indians, 4 Russians, one Irishman, 2 South Koreans, 1 Frenchman, 1 Argentinean, 1 Australian. State television reported that several bodies were recovered from the crash site, while the causes remain unclear.

The plane crashed between the old airport and Pokhara International Airport, in Kaski district, about 200 km northwest of Kathmandu.

Last year a plane with 22 people on board crashed in the mountains of Nepal. Another accident dates back to 2018, in which 49 people lost their lives.
