Unbelievably, a mouse caused a "Scandinavian Airlines" plane flying from the Norwegian capital Oslo to Malaga in Spain to make an emergency landing in Denmark.
One of the passengers on board found a live mouse inside the meal he was about to eat and the plane was forced to land at Copenhagen airport.
"The flight in question was diverted in accordance with company procedures, as the mouse on board posed a security risk," SAS spokesman Austin Schmidt told French news agency AFP.
The passengers were later taken to Malaga on another plane, while one of them who experienced the incident told the media that the mouse got out of the food box being opened by the woman sitting next to him on the flight.
Borestad said the situation was very calm and that the other passengers were "not stressed at all".
But airlines usually have strict restrictions on rodents on planes, as they want to prevent them from getting into electrical wiring.
"This is something that happens extremely rarely. We have procedures in place for situations like this, which also include a review with our suppliers to ensure this does not happen again," Schmidt added.
