Bad weather continues to create problems for some European countries. In the last hours the forecast seems to be less dramatic, but in Budapest the Danube alert remains.

The rains of the last few days have significantly increased the level of the river, which has flooded half of the neighborhoods of the Hungarian capital.

Flooding should peak this evening.

Compared to the 2013 flood, experts say the wave may be less destructive but will last longer.

Meanwhile, in Italy, the material damages of the floods that brought the region of Emilja Romanja to its knees are already being calculated.

The state has allocated 20 million euros to help those affected by the large water floods.
