US media: Israel informed the US of attacks on Iran, but did not support
Israeli attack

The United States was informed of Israel's plans to strike, but it did not approve the action, unnamed officials told several American media outlets.

Both NBC and CNN have reported unnamed officials saying Israel gave Washington advance warning.

"We did not approve the response," CNN quoted an official as saying.

The White House and Pentagon have yet to comment on the reported attack, which Iran says involved only a few drones. Iran, on the other hand, has rejected reports of a missile attack. An official of Tehran has stated that "the news of the American media is not true"/
