MASSACRE in Austria/ The number of people killed in a school rises to 10,

New details from the massacre in Austria, at least ten people lost their lives today during a shooting at a school in the city of Graz .

The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m., when police received a call about an emergency situation at a high school and hearing gunshots.

Special forces were immediately deployed to the scene and the school was evacuated and fully searched by security forces.

Police spokesman Sabri Yorgun confirmed that the operation was underway and authorities were working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Austrian media have reported that there are 10 victims so far, but the number could rise again as there are also several injured.

The suspected perpetrator, after carrying out the massacre, committed suicide in the school bathrooms.

The event has shocked the city of Graz, the second largest city in Austria, with around 300,000 inhabitants.

Authorities have called for calm and are continuing investigations to uncover the motives for the attack.
