Marta Kos congratulates Kurti on his victory!

EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has congratulated the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, on his victory in Sunday's elections, where his party emerged as the leading force, regaining the public's trust to govern.

In a reaction in X, Kos calls on political parties to compromise among themselves to build institutional stability, emphasizing that it is the only way to lead the country on the path towards the EU.

"Congratulations @albinkurti on the victory in the elections in Kosovo, and, most importantly, on the peaceful, inclusive and orderly voting process. For Kosovo to progress on its path towards the EU, political forces must now unite and find compromises to build institutional stability.  I look forward to returning to Kosovo as soon as possible to accelerate the work on Kosovo's integration into the EU and to continue the work on financing the Growth Plan ," wrote Marta Kos.
