Two earthquakes one after the other in Athens

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Athens this afternoon.

The first earthquake was registered at a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale, while the aftershock was even stronger.

The second tremor registered 5.3 on the Richter scale, with the epicenter in the Mandudhi area of ​​Evia, Kalkidhe.

The Athens Geodynamic Institute says there were 3 seismic shocks, two of which measured 4.3 and 4.8 on the Richter scale. The depth was estimated at 5 km and was felt as far as Athens.

No damage is reported at the moment.
