Need a coalition to form the government, Albin Kurti: Cooperation with all parties

Albin Kurti's Vetëvendosje Movement party celebrated late yesterday evening in 'Skënderbeu' Square together with supporters after the preliminary voting results were released.

From Pristina, Kurti stated that he will hold meetings with other political parties in the coming weeks. He emphasized that the Vetëvendosje Movement and its coalition partners will cooperate with each party.

"Of course, in the coming weeks we will communicate, meet and cooperate with all political entities of the Republic of Kosovo," he said.

Referring to preliminary results, LVV has once again received the greatest support in the voting, with around 43.05% of the votes, but this time it will enter parliament with 9 fewer MPs than last December.

The second force remains PDK with 21.23% of the votes, a very slight increase in votes. The LDK is initially estimated to have won 17.68% of the votes, an increase of almost 4%.

The LDK, whose list was led by former President Vjosa Osmani, has seen the largest increase among the opposition parties. According to DNV, it will lead 20 MPs to parliament, 5 more than the last legislature.
