EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos , has emphasized that Montenegro is the most advanced candidate country on the path to the EU.

Through a reaction on X , Kos stated that with the closing of another chapter of negotiations yesterday, their total is now 14.

However, she stressed that there is still work to be done, while stressing the importance of maintaining the pace of reforms, with a focus on the rule of law.
