'Madonna' with breasts uncovered in 'Cremona Pride',

The storm has engulfed the pride of the citizens of Cremona. At the center of the controversy is the choice to exhibit a life-size mannequin, disguised as Madonna, with her breasts uncovered during the LGBT community parade.

A local representative judged her to be blasphemous. Civil society organizations also criticized Mayor Gianluca Galimberti, but he defended himself on Facebook:

"The parade with the statue of Madonna was a lack of respect not only to those who believe and the history of the city, but in my opinion also to those who participated in the procession, expressing their ideas with respect.

For those few people I say that the expression of attitudes should be done by considering and respecting those of others. "Always."
