"The war in Ukraine is the most difficult to resolve", the US vice president criticizes European leaders!

US Vice President JD Vance criticized European leaders on Wednesday, accusing them of not doing enough to end the war in Ukraine.

"We have been disappointed by many political leaders in Europe because they do not seem particularly interested in resolving this specific conflict ," Vance said at a conference in Budapest, where he has been visiting since Tuesday.

The US vice president stressed that the conflict in Ukraine was "the most difficult war to resolve," following the ceasefire reached in Iran.

"In some ways, we thought it would be the easiest fight.  We are working on this (…) and we will continue ," he added, noting that considerable progress has been made.

"We've really managed to get those Ukrainians and Russians to express their positions, and over time, their positions have become more and more similar ," he said.
