New revelations about the fate of former Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, appointed in January and removed from the scene on June 25.

The Wall Street Journal has recently published the version according to which the minister was punished for an extramarital affair while he was ambassador in Washington, between the summer of 2021 and the winter of 2022.

The rumors are not new, as rumors have circulated on Chinese social networks, but the new sources of the American newspaper are from Beijing government officials.
