The widow of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the former head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner, has officially changed her surname.
The SPARK system notes that Prigozhin's widow is now called Lubov Valentinovna Krazheva , Russian media outlet Fontanka reports. SPARK received the information about the last name change on September 15.
There is no information on when the last name was changed, Fontanka says that it is actually the maiden name of Prigozhin's widow. The former leader of the mercenaries had three children, one son and two daughters, but it is not known if they also changed their surnames. Prigozhin's widow is a pharmacist who is an entrepreneur.
We recall that on August 23 of this year, Prigozhin died in an air accident in the Tver region of Russia. All ten people on the plane died.
Two months before the plane crash, Prigozhin launched a short-lived but well-supported rebellion against Vladimir Putin's regime.
After publicly criticizing the actions of members of the Russian military leadership and accusing them of the attack on Wagner in Bakhmut, he ordered a march on Moscow.
