Kosovo urges citizens to avoid crossings with Serbia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo has called on all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, including migrants, who have planned or are planning transit through the territory of Serbia, to avoid all entrances and exits at the border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia.

This call follows the warnings of the so-called "Blockade Organizational Council" in Serbia, which announced that on September 6, 2024, blockades of roads leading to border crossings with the Republic of Kosovo are planned.

Notification to citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and members of the exile planning to transit through the territory of Serbia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora calls on all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, including members of the border, who have planned or are planning transit through the territory of Serbia, to avoid all entrances and exits at the border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia.

The call follows the warnings of the so-called "Blockade Organizational Council" in Serbia, which announced that on September 6, 2024, blockades of roads leading to the border crossings with the Republic of Kosovo were planned.

The MFA calls on all citizens and members of the exile to carefully follow the developments and new warnings regarding the situation and to be informed only by official sources of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, to avoid disinformation and fake news.
