The chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, spoke before the last session on the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo, emphasizing that the lack of an agreement between the political parties is continuing to keep the country blocked.

He confirmed that he held a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani after the session held at 14:00, where, according to him, an exchange of views was held on the current political situation.

"We had a meeting with the president and we simply exchanged opinions after the session. She was interested in the developments and the possibilities of a solution, while we informed her about what we have also said in the media - that unfortunately there has been no agreement for three months now," Limaj declared.

He added that, according to Nisma's interpretation, the constitutional deadline of 30 days, which starts after the Constitutional Court's decision on June 26, has not been really used to vote in the Assembly.

"We believe that during these 30 days, deputies have never had the real opportunity to vote," said Limaj, hinting that the process has dragged on without a real attempt at a solution.
