Kiev calls on citizens to arm themselves to defend the territory

"All those who are ready and know how to use weapons can join the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their region," wrote on Facebook the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov, noting that the country "is passing in full protection mode ”.

Meanwhile, the army is distributing weapons to army veterans to withstand the invasion by Russian forces.

The Russian military began bombing military bases in the early hours of Thursday morning, and reports say dozens have been killed.
