A 22-year-old Albanian resident in Italy has suffered from the justice authorities, as he is accused of repeatedly mistreating and threatening his roommate and her 3-month-old baby.
The Ragusa police announced that the incident happened in Pedalino in the span of several months, as initially the 20-year-old woman, whose nationality is not determined and who was recently living with the suspect, whose name was not published, denounced in April, domestic violence.
The court took measures to control the Albanian with an electronic bracelet, so that he would no longer approach the young mother and her child.
But as he pointed out the investigative developments for a coercive measure, the 22-year-old lost track, not submitting to justice.
This escape lasted until he was found by the officers of the Comiso Commissariat, while the Judge of the Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Ragusa, assessing the situation and the seriousness of the facts, tightened it further; with house arrest and electronic bracelet at the same time.
The suspect is accused of being responsible for continuous family violence in the years 2022-2024, for severe episodes of mistreatment of the partner, mainly physical and verbal violence, beatings, threats, insults.
It is not specified by the Italian authorities and media, whether the suspected Albanian was also the father of the 3-month-old baby or the causes of this violence.
