It took four minutes for the group of acrobatic "hawks" to steal 1 million euros and jewelry and valuables from the house of the former parliamentary journalist of RAI in Rome, Italy, an event that happened two days ago (11 August). The suspicions from the investigations so far are that the perpetrators are of Albanian origin.

"This is how the Albanian gangs that are stealing houses in the north of Rome act", reports the news portal "roma.repubblica.it".

The last episode took place in "Via Courmayeur", where the apartment of journalist Mimmo Del Giudice was emptied without the owners' spouses noticing anything, who were asleep.

The media describes the perpetrators as "a gang of professional acrobat thieves, connected to the Albanian underworld." Even a day later, the investigations are continuing with the collection of evidence, security camera footage and dactyloscopic or biological traces left by the aggressors.

Retired journalist Mimmo Del Giudice said he woke up on Sunday morning (August 11) to find his apartment completely turned upside down. The thieves climbed from the outside of the building to the third floor and then entered through a window without a grill.

"We found the shutter broken and the whole house turned upside down. The only room they didn't enter is ours," he testified.
As he added that the perpetrators had opened the safe, where there were the sum of 1 million euros from the savings of his entire work career and pension, as well as the couple's valuables.

The police of the Ponte Milvio police station are investigating the case, after receiving the footage from the surveillance cameras of "Italpol", which is responsible for surveillance within the consortium in via Cortina D'Ampezzo. An exclusive neighborhood, inhabited by professionals and entrepreneurs. The area in question is monitored by about 40 closed-circuit cameras.
