A German couple have taken to court a rooster that, according to them, crowed a lot, about 200 times a day.

Friedrich-Wilhelm K. and his wife Jutta, said that the neighbor's rooster starts crowing at 8 am and doesn't stop all day.

The couple wants to get rid of the neighbor's rooster, and for this reason, they have recorded his crowing every day, to prove to the court that they are not complaining in vain.

"We can't go out into the yard, we can't open a window. At night he stays closed and we don't hear him, but at 8 they take him out and he doesn't rest anymore. It's like torture," said the 76-year-old German.

While the couple's lawyer said: "A rooster has no place in a residential area."
