There is still hope, after 12 days voices are heard under the ruins

The deadly earthquakes, centered in Kahramanmaraş, completely leveled buildings in the Antakya neighborhood of Hatay. 

However, after 12 days, in a complex of destroyed buildings in this area, voices were heard under the ruins. According to the probability, it is about 3 people, but the rescue teams are continuing the search. 

" There are rumors. After 273 hours of searching, voices were heard under the rubble. There is still hope. There are believed to be three members of the Dalyan family: Fikret Dalyan, Sema Dalyan, Medina Dalyan. First, the voice was heard through a camera and repeated for five minutes. Next, the experts used a more sensitive acoustic device. As soon as they assessed the situation, the search and rescue forces started working again. How deep they may have been under the rubble or how long it will take the team to extract them is not yet clear at the moment ," said CNN TÜRK journalist Enver Kaptanoğlu.

So far, crews have not been able to speak directly to people under the rubble, so their condition is unknown. However, all three are believed to be alive as they respond to occasional calls. 

Being on the 12th day after the fatal earthquake, search teams are aware of the serious health condition of those left under the rubble, so they are trying to open the way as soon as possible.
