Israel has continued to carry out airstrikes in southern Lebanon. On Wednesday, an Israeli airstrike on a southern town killed one person, Lebanon's Health Ministry said.
Israel carried out similar attacks the day before, despite the ceasefire reached in November last year.
"During the Israeli drone attack on the town of Beit Lif, one person was killed and three others were injured," the ministry said in a statement.
Lebanon's state news agency reported that the attack targeted the courtyard of a house in the town, adding that the shell hit the homeowner's car. Israel regularly bombs Lebanon, despite a ceasefire reached in November that ended more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah, including two months of full-scale war.
Hezbollah has been designated a terrorist group by the United States. Meanwhile, the European Union has blacklisted the Lebanese group's military wing, but not its political party.
The ceasefire agreement requires Hezbollah fighters to withdraw north of the Litani River, located about 30 kilometers from the Israeli border, and to destroy all military infrastructure they have in southern Lebanon.
The agreement also requires Israel to withdraw all troops from Lebanon. Despite this, Israel has kept soldiers in four positions it considers "strategic."
