Elon Musk has taken a step back in his clash with US President Donald Trump , expressing regret for some of the comments he had previously made on social media.
In a recent statement, the billionaire admitted:
"I regret some of my posts about Trump. I overdid it."
One of the most controversial posts involved the claim that Trump's name was on a list linked to Jeffrey Epstein, a post that was later deleted by Musk himself.
The statement comes at a time when tensions between Musk and Trump had increased significantly, but it seems that the head of " X " (formerly Twitter) is seeking to tone down and avoid escalating the public clash.
