Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has fallen prey to two Russian comedians known as Vovan and Lexus, thinking he was communicating on the phone with the president of Latvia.

As heard speaking in the video released by Russian comedians, Kurti speaks about the opposition media, claiming that there has been a hybrid war against his government.

"There has been a hybrid war against our government since early on...mainly coming from Serbia and Russia, but also from some of their elements within Kosovo. Hence the hybrid war and disinformation, the second was the irrational promises of the opposition who flirted with hybrid war. And the third was some oligarchs in the country, in particular one, who has a TV station," Kurti is heard saying.

He also talks about emissary Richard Grenell, about whom he is heard at the end saying that "he is gay."

"All these four years against me. He was instrumental in the overthrow of my first government, in 2020, my only government was overthrown during the pandemic. And now he has largely aligned himself with the opposition. He has received a high award in Belgrade, first class, it is not right to receive an award of that kind in an authoritarian country and pretend to be neutral. Now he has a new job, the Kennedy Institute, where it has to do with US values... He is homosexual himself," Kurti says.

Here, the comedians ask him: "Do you know that I'm gay too?" "No, I don't," Kurti replies.
