In addition to the citizens of Kosovo, the Serbian police have started to terrorize Macedonian citizens who are transiting through Serbia. And this, even for more trivial reasons.

An Albanian family from Gostivar, a husband and wife and their minor son, had such an experience yesterday, who, after vacationing in their homeland, headed for the EU, where they have been living for years.

Near Belgrade, a Serbian police patrol stopped the Albanian's car from Gostivar, while they took them to the police station only because their minor son had to wear a T-shirt with an eagle.

From 19:00 yesterday until this afternoon, the police held the Albanian family hostage in the police, while the mother and son, SB, were brought before the court, who was sentenced to 30,000 dinars and declared "person non grata" until in 2031, "Koha" reports. The woman was not released until she paid the fine in cash and signed the court decision, which prohibits her from entering Serbian territory for the next 7 years.

The newspaper "Koha" knows the identity of the woman, and in the following days, we will report more extensively on the case in question.

Otherwise, this case of the Albanian family from Gostivar is not the only case when Albanians are terrorized by Serbian policemen. In addition to bribery, in many cases, Albanians who transit through Serbia are being mistreated and even put in prison just because they are Albanians.
