A 15-year-old shoots five people dead

Five people were killed in a home near Seattle and a 15-year-old boy is suspected of the murders, authorities in the US state of Washington announced.

Two adults and three children were killed and a girl was injured in a shooting in King County, police said, according to Reuters.

Sheriff's Department spokesman Mike Mellis told reporters at the scene that the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The motive of the crime is not yet known and it is not known if all the people involved in this tragic event are related to the family.

Police received multiple calls about a shooting at a home in Fall City, about 10 miles east of Seattle.

Before the doctors arrived at the crime scene, the injured were given first aid by their neighbor.

The 15-year-old suspect was taken into juvenile detention and is scheduled to appear in court later today or Wednesday, the agency said.
