Serbia's statements on the tripartite agreement, Osmani: Ridiculous, they

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has reacted to Serbia's statement regarding the signing of the defense memorandum between Kosovo, Croatia and Albania this week.

Osmani, in a statement to the media on Friday, said that this cooperation between the countries of the region does not pose a threat to Serbia, adding that "Serbia is doing the same thing it has always done, that is, it is lying."

The President of Kosovo has called the statement by Serbia that this trilateral memorandum violates a 1996 agreement ridiculous, saying that Serbia, together with Russia, are trying to present themselves as victims, exploiting situations that have nothing to do with them.

"If you look at their ridiculous statements, despite the fact that they have a history of attacks, invasions, a history of genocide and wars that they themselves have caused, aggressor states like Serbia and Russia appear as if they are attacking them. In the history of our nation's existence, we have never attacked anyone, but in the history of our nation, Albanians, Kosovo in particular, have always defended themselves," Osmani stressed.

She said that the trilateral agreement aims for countries to help each other increase their defense capacities, that is, to defend themselves and not to attack anyone.

Furthermore, she stated that Serbia is no longer asked about anything and that it is the only one endangering the region.

The Serbian Foreign Ministry considered the agreement on a military alliance between the three countries a "provocation" and said it would send an urgent request to the Foreign Ministries of Croatia and Albania, requesting a detailed explanation regarding the signing of the trilateral memorandum.
