A serious incident occurred on Sunday morning in the area of ​​Novol in Lecce, where a man stabbed his wife, and then he was found dead.

Italian media suggest that the incident happened shortly after 2 o'clock in the morning, where 38-year-old Donatella Miccoli and her husband Matteo Verdesca, were alone at home, after the children had been sent to their grandparents.

The incident happened after the couple had returned home after a party. Neighbors testified that they first heard loud quarrels, and then screams, after the man had stabbed the woman.

Police have gone to the scene and launched a search for the killer man, who was found dead hours later in an abandoned area, where he is suspected to have ended his life.
