Severe in Italy / 47-year-old father rescues two girls at sea, but drowns

Holidays at Forcatella Beach, between Torre Canne and Savelletri, turned into a tragedy for a family from Bari.

Husband, wife and their twin daughters were resting were spending time on the beach. As the two 11-year-old girls were bathing in the sea, the sudden wind that disturbed the sea prevented them from going out to sea.

After their father noticed, he immediately went to help you. He swam and managed to pull the girls to a position they could reach shore.

After this moment he was seen by people rolling in the sea. Despite the fact that those present came to his aid immediately, he passed away. The girls and his wife saw the tragic moment.

The 47-year-old may have died from the excessive water he may have drunk while swimming or may have suffered a heart attack from straining and drowned. Investigations will shed light on the dynamics of the event.
