The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged media reports of the use of ATACMS missiles inside Russian territory, but he has not confirmed or denied whether permission to use them was given by the US.

In a video statement on Telegram, Zelensky said he had presented a "victory plan" to the allies, which included beefing up the military with long-range weapons.

"In the media they say that we have received permission to take appropriate actions, but the attacks are not carried out with words. Such things are not announced. The rockets will speak for themselves," Zelensky said.
