The arrest of five Serbs in Kosovo on suspicion of war crimes has prompted Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to react harshly.
He considers this action a "deliberate provocation" by authorities in Kosovo.
"They are trying to provoke every Serb house, so that every Serb house knows that it cannot stay in Kosovo territory. It is a miserable silence of internationals and the Western world, who pretend not to see what is happening," the Serbian leader told a news conference on Saturday afternoon.
He also criticized the quint countries' stance, saying they would only make faint statements against the actions and then remain silent.
Vucic also announced that he will have talks with EU and US representatives during the day.
The Kosovo prosecutor's office said on Friday that after a months-long investigation, it has arrested five Serbs suspected of war crimes.
According to investigators, the arrested persons are suspected that in April 1999, in several villages of the Municipality of Gjilan, they committed a series of crimes against Albanian civilians, including murder, wounding, burning, kidnapping and torture.
