Incident with Osman at Skopje airport, Kosovo protest note! North Macedonia: We are analyzing it

Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Gervalla announced that she has sent a note of protest to the Authorities of North Macedonia following the incident at Skopje Airport on August 1, 2024.

"Minister Gërvalla has presented a protest note to the authorities of North Macedonia, demanding immediate and complete clarification on this incident. At the same time, it was requested that the Macedonian authorities take immediate measures to investigate this case and ensure that such events are not repeated in the future," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora said that in addition to presenting the protest note, Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Gërvalla, called the Macedonian ambassador to Kosovo in a clarifying conversation, and met with Deputy Prime Minister Arben Fetai and had a telephone conversation with Macedonian Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, during which the concerns of Kosovo institutions were expressed after the incident.

The Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo maintain positive and constructive bilateral relations and cooperation, without open issues and with honest and continuous dialogue at all levels and in all fields.
