The Democratic Union for Integration (BDI) has called the diplomatic incident at the Skopje airport against the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, scandalous.

Through a communique, from this party they said that this behavior should be severely punished towards anyone, but especially towards the highest representatives of the state.

"The Democratic Union for Integration strongly condemns the scandalous diplomatic incident at the Skopje airport against the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani. This view of the state towards every citizen, and in particular towards the highest representatives of the state, and in this case our sisters and brothers from Kosovo, is unacceptable and must be punished in the harshest form", says the reaction.

Likewise, for DUI, the involvement in this incident of the security chief of the Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, is also scandalous.

"The involvement of the security chief of the illegitimate Speaker of the Assembly Afrim Gashi in the incident, deepening it, without having any competence, without being called and without the right, is also scandalous and speaks loudly of the miserable and vassal state in which it is the illegitimate Albanian representation in the mono-ethnic government", DUI further said.

The culprit for this event, according to the Democratic Union for Integration, is the VLEN coalition.

"The losers of the presidential and parliamentary elections accepted the role of subordinate and servile, only to be in power for themselves, leaving the fate of Albanians in the country and in the region at the mercy of VMRO DPMNE. The lack of legitimacy, but also of knowledge and courage, makes you ashamed in front of the citizens and in front of the sisters and brothers in Kosovo and Albania, but also in Washington and Brussels", the DUI wrote in the communique.
According to the DUI, political responsibility must be given to the Deputy Minister of the Interior of North Macedonia, Astrit Iseni, the Speaker of the Macedonian Assembly, Afrim Gashi, his personal security and all the others involved.

"The denial of the incident by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Astrit Iseni, the illegal and anarchic involvement of Gashi's personal security that provoked an even bigger incident, do not dare to pass without political responsibility along with the legal responsibility of all those involved in this diplomatic scandal", it was said in the DUI communique.
