Oscar-winning actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie has visited the Ukrainian city of Kherson.
The announcement was made by former city council member Vitalii Bohdanov via Facebook on November 5, posting photos of herself wearing a bulletproof vest with Ukrainian symbols.
According to local media and social media reports, Jolie visited several medical facilities, including a maternity hospital and a children's hospital.
Her visit was reportedly part of an ongoing humanitarian aid program supporting civilians affected by Russia's full-scale invasion.
According to the Telegram-Ukraine channel, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration presented Angelina Jolie with a commemorative coin "Kherson".
According to previous reports, Angelina Jolie had visited Ukraine in 2022 on her own initiative. In Lviv, she met with children injured in the Russian missile attack on the Kramatorsk railway station and spoke to displaced families at the city's train station.
During her visit, an air raid alert forced Jolie, along with volunteers and civilians, to take shelter due to the threat of rocket attacks.
Earlier, Prince Harry made an unannounced trip to Ukraine, visiting wounded soldiers undergoing rehabilitation at the Superhumans Center in Lviv.
