"Does anyone know this boy?", says the announcement of Interpol, which is looking for a boy whose body was found in the Danube in Germany.
An international appeal has been launched to identify the body of a child whose remains were found near Grosmering in Bavaria on May 19 last year, but it is not known how long it had been in the water.
According to local media, the child was found in the water with a stone around his body and wrapped in metal foil, while investigators believe he was between five and six years old and may have spent some time outside Germany.
Brown hair, about 110 centimeters tall
The country's authorities have asked Interpol to send a so-called black notice, including images of the facial reconstruction, to the organisation's 185 member countries, including the UK.
"He was about 110 cm tall and weighed about 15 kg, with brown hair and blood type O," the announcement said.
Jürgen Stock, Secretary General of Interpol, said that "Interpol calls on the global community to work together to discover the identity of the child."
"Through this black notice, Interpol is calling on the global law enforcement community to check databases and consult open or unsolved cases. "Someone somewhere has to want something for this guy, so it's just as important that some details are made public," Stock said.
Stock also added that it is important to identify the body, in order to clarify his death as soon as possible.
"Whether he was a victim of human trafficking, kidnapping or violence, we are committed to mobilizing all of Interpol's police capabilities to identify him and help investigators shed light on his death," Štok concluded.

The black notice was issued as part of the Identify Me programme, which was launched in May to help police in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands identify 22 women and girls they believe have been murdered.
Black notices, which are used to request information and intelligence on unidentified bodies and to determine the circumstances of a death, are usually distributed through the global police force network Interpol.
