Four people have died from gunshot wounds, while 14 others have been hospitalized, following a shooting in Chicago.

Local authorities report that at least three of the 14 injured are in critical condition.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, July 3, in Chicago's River North neighborhood.

Foreign media reported that the shooting took place outside a restaurant and lounge, where a rapper's party promoting his new album had just ended.

Police said someone opened fire on a crowd of people standing outside, and the vehicle immediately fled the scene. No arrests have been made so far.

According to preliminary police information, 13 women and five men, aged between 21 and 32, were injured. Among the victims are two men and two women. The injured were transported to several different hospitals.

Nine people were taken to Northwestern Hospital, including the two women who died, while five people were treated at John H. Stroger Hospital, including the two deceased men.
