/ Attacks on the Albanian in Spain, he was found dead on the side of the road

An Albanian citizen was injured in Castelldefels, Barcelona. The incident happened when a person who was walking along the city promenade found a man on the ground seriously injured and covered in blood and called 112 to notify the emergency services.

Mossos d'Esquadra operatives went to the scene and confirmed that the victim, a young man of Albanian nationality, was shot in the leg with a short pistol-type firearm, so the presence of health services was requested.

He received first aid at the scene and was later transported by EMS ambulance to a hospital, where he had to undergo surgery. His health is out of danger. The Division of Criminal Investigation (DIC) of the Southern Metropolis region has taken over the case and is trying to clarify the facts.

The Albanian did not want to cooperate with the agents and did not explain anything about who shot him and what reasons he had for doing so.

The investigators, taking into account the circumstances of the event and the nationality of the victim, are working with the hypothesis that it may be a new incident with firearms related to a revenge for the illegal traffic of marijuana.
