Popular Mexican YouTuber Miguel "El Jasper" Vivanco was recently murdered.

Miguel was found dead with his hands bound and eyes closed on a street in the early hours of Saturday morning in Culiacan, Mexico, two days after he was reported missing.

Police believe the internet personality was tortured by the Los Chapitos drug cartel before he was killed. According to Spanish media, his dead body was found by a family member with about 70 bullets.

Miguel's family members claim that a group of killers entered his home in Sinaloa on November 21 and his family has not seen him since.

Although the "Youtuber" is from Culican, he became famous in Sinaloa after sharing videos on YouTube and TikTok. Moreover, he had a close friendship with his Internet star Marcos Eduardo Castro, better known as Markitos Toys.

Miguel and Marcos have been linked to the Los Chapitos crime group in the past. Los Chapitos is known as one of the most influential gangs in Mexico as it was created by the sons of the former leader of the Sinaloa cartel, imprisoned Guzman Loera, otherwise known as El Chapo.
