The head of the Albanian Development Fund, Dritan Agolli, continues to spend millions of euros from Albanian taxes, or from loans that poor Albanians are paying back, on several projects that serve only 1% of the people or taxpayers.
After filling all of Albania with hotels, bars, and restaurants, distributing them to his friends or the majority, Agolli has opened another tender.

Facsimile: Announcement of the 5.5 million euro tender for the improvement of the beach in Durrës
Agolli aims to aesthetically improve the beach of Durrës. It is more similar to the famous promise of Ferdinand Xhaferri, who when he ran for mayor of Durrës said that "we will improve the quality of the sun."
The head of the ADF is a little more refined, writing in the letters that he has opened the tender with the object of "intervention to increase the tourist offer and for the functional and aesthetic improvement of the coast, Municipality of Durrës" .
It is learned that the limit fund is a full 540,893,816 lekë, or if we convert it into euros, the amount goes to a full 5.5 million euros. The project is intended to be implemented within 18 months.

In the published photos, the ADF has planned to build even in the sea. Agolli aims to make some "islands" in the style of Dubai, but only with one big difference. The islands are miniature, or microscopic, and not inhabited or for building villas or resorts. Of course, there is no shortage of ideas, but the implementation leaves much to be desired.
However, the documents state that "the study area, marked in color on the map, is located in the coastal area extending from the Dajlan Bridge to the Cavalry Building."

The Fund writes that the project aims to transform the coastline of the city of Durrës into a contemporary tourist, recreational and urban destination, through carefully planned architectural and urban interventions. “It includes the expansion of the existing beach, the creation of a linear green park along the sea line, the development of multifunctional public spaces and the integration of new recreational and sports infrastructure. The length of the intervention area is about 2.8 km, with an extension of the coast up to 100 meters towards the sea, creating new public spaces for residents and visitors,” the document continues.
But wasn't there a similar tender last year?!
According to documents available to VoxNews, last year the ADF opened a tender to fill the Durrës coast with sand, but it seems that the project serves more the "EMAAR" firm of Mohamed Alabbar.
In that project, it seems quite clear that the entire territory of the Port of Durres, where “Durrës Yacht & Marina” is being built, will be filled with sand and beaches will be created. The fund of this tender was a full 6 million euros. The documents stated that the reprofiling and filling with sand of the coastline from the Dajlan Bridge to the Cavalry Building, Durres, was required.
The filling would be done from the Port to the end of the new promenade at the Cavalry building.
"In the Port of Durres area, an investment known as Durres Yacht Marina is being developed, which also aims to create a new coastal area. Near this investment, the sandy area of ??the seashore is very reduced and has a width of 15 to 20 meters," these documents state.
Now, millions more euros will be invested in the same project. Is the intention to "help" Alabbari? Or did the company that filled the beach with sand not do a good job?
