Before there were Romans, there were Persians. They unified all of Central Asia, which consisted of different cultures, kingdoms, empires, and tribes.

It was one of the largest empires in ancient history.

The Persians, with the Achaemenid dynasty, were the first superpower of antiquity.

At the height of its power, the empire encompassed approximately 8 million square kilometers.

The empire was created by Cyrus the Great and spanned three continents, including the territories of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, parts of Central Asia, Asia Minor, Thrace, many coastal regions of the Black Sea, Iraq, Northern Saudi Arabia , Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and all important centers.

Not bloodthirsty, although legend says they were cruel to the Greeks, they based their power on an organized army, religious freedom and infrastructure.
