A lucky couple found a significant stash of 400-year-old gold coins, which could net you a quarter of a million pounds.
The 264 coins were discovered as they embarked on renovating the floor of their home in North Yorkshire. As they lifted the floorboards in the 18th century house, they were surprised to see a clay pot the size of a drink can.
When experts examined it, the couple discovered they had slept on a £250,000 fortune over the past decade. The coins were discovered in 2019, but can now be auctioned.
A gold coin featuring George I is one that has attracted the most attention as it has a manufacturing error. The coin does not have the king's face engraved on it, so both sides are 'chicken' and is expected to cost around £4,000.
A coin of Charles II from 1675 has a spelling error as the king's Latin name is misspelled. This coin is expected to reach the value of 1500 Pounds.
The discovery of these coins is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in Britain
