Former guard commander Gramoz Sako has officially started electoral meetings for the elections in the Tepelena Municipality.
But while Gramozi seeks the votes of the citizens of Tepelena for the municipality, his brother Artani is wreaking havoc with public tenders in the South.
In the last week alone, the 2T company has laundered at least 3 lucrative tenders in southern cities, a scandal that proves how the government is deeply immersed in conflict of interest and diverts citizens' tax money to its own private accounts.
The first tender received by the 2T company is for the new pumping station in Gajda, Lushnja. In the tender with a limited fund of 4.25 million euros developed by the Lushnja Water and Sewerage Company, the 2T company was declared the winner with a bid of 3.8 million euros, although there were three other lower bids below this.
On the same day as the Lushnja water supply tender, the 2T company received another tender worth 2 million euros. This was the tender for the reconstruction of the Athal road, developed by the Himara Municipality.
In this case, 2T was in partnership with a company called Apis Construction, which is also a satellite of 2T, with an immigrant living in Italy as its legal owner, while the actual owner is a relative of Sakove.
In the Himara tender, the smell of corruption clearly reeks as all the submitted bids signal a clear collusion agreement, as companies, some of which are related to each other, competed with price differences of 20 thousand lek.
But before the signatures on the two tenders in Lushnja and Himara were fully dried, 2T won another tender. Again in partnership with its satellite APIS, but this time in the Municipality of Vlora.
The tender for the reconstruction of the high water canals, 2T and APIS were announced as winners for the value of 550 thousand euros.
2 T is a waste of public funds.
In the last 5 years, this company has benefited from at least 100 million euros in direct payments from the state treasury, confirming itself as one of the biggest budget sharks.
So now they also need the municipality of Tepelena./ Kapital
