When will Fevziu broadcast about the 1.3 billion euro mega-affair of the Lekaj-Fier road?!

A few days ago, the Ministry of Infrastructure announced the winner of the Lekaj-Fier road concession. It was a union of 8 companies, that with a minimal investment will place the beam on the existing road and collect the fee from each of its users.

When this winner was announced, few media raised doubts that behind this concession there was a suspicious affair. Among the first was Voxnews.al. Why did we raise these doubts? First, according to the submitted project, only 3.2 kilometers of the road will be on a new track, the rest will be on the existing road.

So, for about 42 kilometers of road, the base is ready, as well as the space where it will be expanded with one lane is ready with minimal expropriation with negligible land costs if we refer to the reference prices determined by a VKM of 2016.

Secondly, the companies declare an investment of 384 million euros. The figure raises suspicions that it was artificially inflated to justify collecting fees from citizens for 35 years in a row.

Third, the concession was awarded without competition. There is a merger of eight companies. If you look at the history of tenders, PPPs and concessions in Albania, this is the only case when 8 companies come together and give a single offer.

Despite all these facts that lead to reasonable suspicions that it is a real corruption affair, the concession took little space on the big screens. It did not even find space on the screen of Blendi Fevziu, where plastic surgery was even talked about.

Why is Blendi Fevziu silent about this concession? Have the vested interests and threads of this alleged affair leading up to the owners of Klan television silenced him?

Only Blendi Fevziu can answer these questions, certainly by organizing a special show for the concession of the Lekaj-Fier road, maybe he learns that behind this concession there are names that he knows better than anyone.
