NOTE: The former opposition MP PD-LSI, Halit Valteri, has responded to the call of the head of SPAK, Arben Kraja regarding the opening of investigations for the country's top politicians.

With the lawsuit submitted, the former MP has brought before the SPAK the responsibility, that the opening of the investigation should have been initiated by him.

The head of the Special Prosecution Office said that the body he heads does not act on the basis of public statements (although the law gives him the right to open cases mainly, ie on the initiative of the prosecutors themselves and without a report), but on the basis of public denunciations.

Now, he has the report and with this report, Walter has put in a big test this structure, which has only two roads in front; or to act and prove to the Albanians that they did not believe in them in vain, or to prove the accusations of Berisha who ironizes him by calling him "SKAPI".

There are no middle roads for Arben Kraja and the whole special structure. At stake is not the fate of the leader of SPAK, or of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi. At stake is the public's trust in SPAK and the new justice system, which now has the time to prove that it is truly 'blind'.

Këto janë arsyet se përse kallëzimi i Halit Valterit është test për SPAK-un dhe ndoshta për të gjithë reformën në drejtësi dhe besimin e qytetarëve tek ajo.

Nobody is asking the SPAK to sentence him, after all it is not a court but an investigative body. As an investigator, he has the duty to at least investigate and respond to all the accusations against Ilir Meta. It does not matter whether the President is convicted or acquitted. The SPAK has a duty to investigate.
