In early April, the government declared another strategic investor and another coveted area, closing one of the most beautiful beaches on the Albanian coast to citizens.
"Marina Hills" is the strategic investment approved by the Government for Development in the Turra Castle in The Saranda. He arrives as a proposal by the company "Finsec Development", registered in Switzerland and planned for development alongside General's Beach, also received by Salvage Shijaku in strategic investor status.
The two projects have collided with each other as far as the surface is concerned. The "Marina Hills" stretched to an area of 400 hectares, but has been reduced to about 160 hectares after the rest took the "Mediterranean Ave" of Savior Shijak.
According to official data, "Marina Hills" is owned at 70 percent by Finsec Development and 30 percent by 25-year-old Greg Jillari. The value of the project according to the documentation submitted is projected to be 450ml euros and will generate employment for 200 people.
The Turra Castle area has been part of dubious decisions even earlier, where the most key remains for the construction of a port through a concession contract signed in 2013, called "Porto Albania".
Porto Albania and Marina Hills, according to QKR extracts, have the same administrator, citizen Artan Kraja.
The strategic investment law expires next year. He has been pushed twice, where the last time was in 2021.
There are a host of strategic investors given under this law for building villas, hotels and resorts on the coast. For the way this status has been granted, the opposition has called on the Assembly to establish a Parliamentary Investigative Commission.
