The Special Prosecutor's Office has presented the claim for the former judge of the Supreme Court, Guxim Zenelaj, asking for 1 year in prison.
In application of Article 59, SPAK requests that the former Supreme Judge not be sent to the cell, but placed on probation for a period of 24 months.
SPAK demands that Zenelaj be found guilty of the charge of " refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests and corrupt persons and public servants or any other person who has a legal obligation to declare ".
Meanwhile, the trial continues for Zenelaj's seized assets, for which the first instance decided the confiscation, but the case is on appeal.
