Was "Rejsi Farma" favored by the "anti-Botox" police action?

Two administrators of two aesthetic centers in Tirana and a botox supplier in Albania were arrested a little while ago during the coded operation " Botulinum toxin " that was undertaken by the State Police .

The "supplier" Mildon Kumaraku and the administrators of 2 private aesthetic clinics, Xhuljana Mahmuti and Deisa Shehaj , ended up in handcuffs .

While Skerdi Faria, the administrator of the " Keit " clinic, was also announced as wanted .

The action was extended to aesthetic centers and various businesses where botox injection procedures were performed.

In total, about 30 entities that exercised their function in the capital were checked.

Controls were also carried out in apartments where it was suspected that the owners of these centers were stocking contraband goods.

"Botulinum toxin" products were not registered with the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices .

But the action itself raises doubts.

Sources for VoxNews claimed that this operation had an indication to favor the company " Rejsi Farma ", which has also stored large amounts of "Botoxi" in its warehouses.

Doubts are strengthened even more since with the attack on this network, all aesthetic clinics are now forced to buy the "botox" product near the warehouses of the "Rejsi Farma" company, which was earlier involved in a scandal after the FSDKSH, on December 21 2022, during an inspection he carried out in the pharmaceutical import warehouse "Rejsi Farma", he found 18 expired medications, the amount of which exceeded 12 thousand pieces, while their value was over 400 thousand euros.

The expiry date for these refillable medicines was over 1 year.

According to the HCSA, there were no documents or minutes issued by the competent authorities for these medications, and the regular procedure for removing them from use was not carried out, not notifying the relevant Regional Tax Director under whose jurisdiction it belongs, as and not receiving approval from the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices, according to legal requirements.

For these drugs, a handwritten record was kept by the control group, not accompanied by photographic evidence of the isolated environment and of the drugs with expired inscriptions, actions which contradict the law but which seem favorable to the subject, "Rejsi Farma".

" Botox " was invented 35 years ago and was initially approved for medical and not aesthetic purposes.

Today botox is used all over the world for migraines, sweating control, bruxism and more recently depression.
