Thousands of tons of imported chicken meat infected with salmonella is suspected to have been put on the market by one of the largest companies importing this product in the country, while the super scandal also involves the National Food Authority, which is trying to keep this fact a secret.
Sources of Voxnews.al say that the shipment entered the country in the last few days and the import was made from America.
According to sources, the National Food Authority has taken samples for analysis at customs and sent them to its laboratories.
The results have been delayed for several days and during this period, the importing company has withdrawn the goods and put them up for sale in the market.
