Albanian international drug trafficking groups, mainly cocaine from Latin America to European Union countries, are using Chinese and Vietnamese masters to launder the money from their activities.
This is the conclusion reached by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in its annual report on fraud, global markets, black banking and black markets in Southeast Asia .
The report highlights the dangerousness and expanded activity of Chinese and Vietnamese criminal groups as well as their geographical reach across almost the entire globe.
One of their main activities is money laundering for international criminal organizations.
In this section, the report states that in addition to the collaborations that Asian groups have in North and South America, their expansion in Europe has been noted.
The UN says that in Europe, it is mainly Chinese and Vietnamese groups that have set up money laundering networks, where millions of euros are released into the market in a year.
According to the report, the main clients of the Chinese are Albanian, French, German, Italian and Irish groups .
