From clothing to perfumes of famous brands, Customs seizes thousands of counterfeit items (PHOTOS)

The Albanian Customs Administration has intensified controls in all customs branches in the country, discovering and seizing large quantities of goods suspected of being counterfeits of well-known international brands.

In recent days, around 1,500 sports T-shirts have been blocked, as well as over 900 clothing items and sports sets from well-known brands such as Nike, Adidas, Zara, Massimo Dutti, etc. Also, significant quantities of perfumes bearing the names of prestigious brands such as Dior, Gucci, Armani, etc. have been seized.

All goods have been temporarily stored, while verifications for violations of intellectual property rights (IPR) continue.

In the official announcement, the Albanian Customs Administration emphasizes that it will continue to resolutely fight against counterfeiting, with the aim of protecting fair trade, legitimate businesses and Albanian consumers.
