The world has been preparing for almost a century for a possible war between America and Russia.
Previously, America and Russia had not been simultaneously adversaries in the same territory as is happening today in Ukraine.
In every sense, diplomatic, military, economic, intelligence and intelligence, this is almost a Russia-Russia clash.
The first of its kind.
For 70 years, America kept the pact with Russia. Especially in Europe.
Although it left half of Europe, including half of Germany and us, to become Soviet, America did not intervene.
It was brought around the world and found other places to show its greatness.
In 1945 he went to Japan with an atomic bomb, from which more than 250,000 Japanese were massacred. This is the first nuclear bomb used in history. America used it not only to end World War II, but also to demonstrate its strength to another superpower, the Soviet Union.
Japan became a military training ground, just like Ukraine today.
In 1965, America went to Vietnam with fire and napalm to prevent this country from becoming communist, that is, from falling under the influence of the Soviet Union and China. In addition to the 60,000 American soldiers who died there for a vain cause, another 2 million Vietnamese disappeared and were massacred.
A few years later, in 1979 Russia did the same.
Went to Afghanistan to appoint a communist government there.
The cost of the war was 15,000 Russian soldiers killed and nearly 2 million Afghans.
Although history recognizes both US military intervention in Vietnam and Russian military intervention in Afghanistan as failures, neither has stopped there.
America later went to Afghanistan itself where, after leaving several hundred thousand more dead there, it fled ugly in August last year, failing to establish a democratic and pro-Western regime.
The people sided with the Taliban even in anger at the American occupation there.
He then went to Iraq, turning a normal, non-democratic but stable country into a massacre where more than 500,000 people died, including 4,000 American soldiers and 1,200 Iraqi children.
The wonder is that while all American and Russian invasions have been almost failures, they still continue to invade.
Today Russia is massacring Ukraine for the same reason as America, Vietnam and the Soviet Union Afghanistan.
That this country does not pass under the influence of another superpower, but remains a satellite of it.
Is right in relation to Ukraine. Jo.
Is it right in relation to the invasion of Vietnam and Afghanistan by the other superpower?
Russia thinks so.
So the point is that superpowers do not necessarily conquer what they want or need, but because another superpower conquers, somewhere else, at another time.
The question is why do superpowers invade when they know they can fail as they have failed?
America and Russia, just like France, England or Germany belong to one civilization.
There are eight civilizations of the world today.
Western, Chinese, Japanese, Islamic, Indian, African, Latin and Slavic Orthodox.
In fact culturally, religiously, biologically and anthropologically the West and Russia are almost a civilization. The white civilization of the North, which includes Europe, America, Canada, Australia and Russia, has its roots in Greco-Roman civilization. Europe begins in Portugal and ends in Russia in the Ural Mountains and in every sense Russia is Europe itself and belongs to this civilization.
But though they are so similar and almost twin, though they are so developed and control most of the world economy, most of the oil and gas, most of the money, gold and banks, though they have produced most of the art and knowledge of mankind, though they have created democracy, that is, the control of governments by the peoples who elect them, although they are the only ones who have explored the world and gone to the Universe, again the peoples of this civilization, our civilization, kill more than all other civilizations together.
Our civilization continues to kill every day in Ukraine.
He kills over and over again and only in one thing does not fail and does not stop.
In mass murder.
Today we are talking about fighting in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Arabia. As we, in Europe, at the center of the upper northern civilization, continue to wound each other, other civilizations with many poor peoples around the world, try to rise up after the terrible colonial invasions that the Western superpowers, our civilization, were have made them for centuries.
If we take stock of all the killings that have caused the Western invasions, religious wars, military wars and colonizations around the world, from India to Japan to Africa, from Iraq to Ukraine, the victims are more than 400 million people.
Measured by the time these killings took place and when the world was smaller, that is, close to 2 billion people by 1940, those killed make up more than 20 percent of the world's population.
In the Western Wars against China called the Opium Wars over 50 thousand Chinese were killed. More than 10 million Africans were killed during the colonization of Africa. In the two World Wars more than 80 million. In Hiroshima 250 thousand disappeared. In Vietnam more than 2 million. In Russian Afghanistan more than 2 million. In American Afghanistan 200 thousand. In Yugoslavia 140 thousand. Ukraine is not yet on this account.
The question is why do we kill so much?
What more does America want with Russia clashing with each other in Ukraine? They have everything, territories, people, forests, oil, gas, minerals, they go to the Moon, they have strong currencies, they have the most abundant fleets, flora and fauna, they control most of the seas and watersheds as well as immeasurable human resources .
Maybe after 100 years we will no longer have superpowers, because war and competition will have disappeared or maybe we will have only one superpower that dominates the whole world.
A superpower that plays alone. No opponents.
How awful.
But maybe better that way. Or maybe better without superpowers.
This is a conclusion I would not wish for, as long as I live in a small country that has constantly been, or conquered, or dominated by one of the superpowers of the time.
In two thousand years of history we have passed from the Romans to the Turks, the Italians, the Germans, the Russians, the Chinese and the Americans.
So it has been and so it continues and probably so it will be.
What I would wish for, but which seems impossible, would be a world with peaceful superpowers.
Superpowers that do not kill.
Impossible or not?
